Top placement at Swedish Green Corridor demonstration day
08 November 2011 - The East West Transport Corridor II project, co-financed by the EU and led by Region Blekinge, participated together with project partner NetPort.Karlshamn at a national demonstration day for green transport in Gothenburg, Sweden on the 22nd of September. Part of the project was judged to be among the top three initiatives to make freight transports more sustainable. Read more
Draft report - Purpose, definition and vision for Green Transport Corridors
21 July 2011 - A draft report that explores the purpose, definition and vision for Green Transport Corridors in Europe has been published under the direction of the Danish Transport Authority and NetPort.Karlshamn. The report is part of the ongoing work within the East West Transport Corridor project on developing a manual to guide and identify the basic elements, which constitutes a green transport corridor compared to a traditional transport corridor.
